FRIENDS for Life is the world's leading program for the treatment
and prevention of childhood anxiety within schools and clinics.
It is the only childhood anxiety prevention program acknowledged by the World Health Organization for its 8 years of comprehensive validation across several countries and languages using rigorous randomized control studies.
Group in-service training is available now in the UK and Ireland via selected training organisations accredited by Pathways Health and Research Centre. Books can be purchased from Interactive Connections in the UK.
Training allows teachers to run the program in their classroom, and health and educational professionals to use the program in a group format for either treatment or prevention.
FRIENDS helps children cope with feelings of fear, worry, and depression, and builds resilience and self-esteem by teaching cognitive and emotional skills in a simple structured format.
Originally developed in Australia, the program has been adapted for local school use in Canada, Germany, and the Netherlands.
